Capitol Christmas Tree - December 2nd, 2008

In December 2008, Society members traveled to Washington, D.C. to proudly represent Montana by performing live at special events and for the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. Jack Gladstone’s ballad for the tree, “Heart of Montana”, became the theme song for this historic occasion and it was the Society’s privilege to join him musically. The singers were invited by the Montana Legislature for an encore performance with Jack at the State Capitol in Helena, Montana. (see photos above) With sincere gratitude to the Forest Service and to our many contributors for their enthusiastic participation and generosity in helping us achieve our financial goal, the Montana A Cappella Society presented a Holiday Thank-You Concert for the community. |
